  We aim, at a minimum, to dispatch items ordered before midday on that same day - excluding weekends and bank holidays. With the help of our couriers, we aim to then deliver all orders to your door within 24 hours of dispatch (for UPS, City link and Interlink options). As part of the move to our new premises in July 2012 we have incorporated a stunning new 5000 square foot showroom. The custom built space offers visitors an attractive, spacious and welcoming atmosphere with areas dedicated to our complete range of sports including hockey, cricket, rugby, netball and running.

The new retail space enables us to showcase a large proportion of our extensive selection of sporting goods including equipment, footwear, clothing and accessories in a clear and customer friendly manner.

Our new and extended indoor Strike Zone offers our customers the opportunity to try out a large selection of demo hockey sticks and cricket bats, free of charge, helping them get a real-world feel of exactly what each product has to offer and ultimately making a more informed product choice.

In addition we now offer our customers a free gait assessment using our in-house gait analysis system, enabling us to recommend the best-match footwear to ensure optimal peformance.

Showroom Opening Times

Barrington Sports was established in 1982 by keen sportsman Barry Dolby in Goostrey, Cheshire. From the beginning our focus has been on being a true sports specialist, focusing on sports we know well.

By 1984, Barrington Sports had moved to a larger outlet in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

In 1986 we moved to Knutsford, Cheshire, where we are still located today, albeit in much larger premises in order to accommodate our various offices, expanding warehouse and successful retail outlet.

Our specialist knowledge, founded upon our in-house IT and expert customer service teams, has gained us a reputation for excellent customer service, delivering quality brands at competitive prices. Crucially, our staff is littered with keen hockey, cricket, rugby, netball players and runners; enabling us to excel at providing top class advice in those sports we specialise in at Barrington Sports.

In 2012 we moved to a brand new 25000 square foot consolidated site. Our new headquarters incorporates state of the art retail and warehouse spaces with interactive playing areas for customers and an even broader range of products. Come and visit us if you are in the area.
