Do not boil in a saucepan for 20 seconds! It will go like chewing gum and ruin your saucepan too. Pour boiling water into a bowl and float the gumshield in it for 20 seconds. The actual product is pretty good though. Quicker and easier than traditional boil gumshields and less expensive than proper O-PRO ones. I will be buying more (along with a new saucepan!)
