How to Order

Placing an order with Barrington Sports is easy. There's no need to create an account first. You automatically create an account when you place your first order online. (We cannot accept orders by fax or e-mail. All orders must be placed online or by phone.)
Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order. If you have any problems when following these steps, please contact us.

4. Sign In/Create a New Account
5. Select Delivery Address
6. Choose a Shipping Option
7. Select Payment Method
8. Review and Submit Your Order
9. Check Your Order Status

1. Find the Items You Want

First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. When you find an item that interests you, click the title, image or name of the item to see its product detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including a stock status providing an estimate of how long it will take before the item will be ready to leave our dispatch center.

2. Add the Items to Your Shopping Basket

If you want to order an item from Barrington Sports, select the quantity of the item your require then click the "Add to Basket" button on the item's product detail page. Once you've added an item to your Shopping Basket, keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Basket at any time by clicking the Basket Summary button at the top of every page of our website.

3. Proceed to Checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Basket. When you're ready to place an order for everything currently in your Shopping Basket, click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.
The instructions below outline each step of our online order form. If at any point you encounter difficulty or receive an error message, please contact us.

4. Sign In / Create Account

If you are an existing customer enter your email address and password in the fields provided then click the "Sign In" button. New customers click the Create Account button which will take you to our Registration form. Firstly, enter your e-mail address. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.). Then choose a password for your account so that when you come back to Barrington Sports in the future, you can use the same shipping addresses and payment methods you provided during your first and subsequent orders. You will also be able to use your password to make changes to your order and account information. Make sure to choose something you will remember the next time you want to place an order. Passwords should be 6 to 10 characters long and can contain any combination of letters or numbers. For security, we recommend that you include at least one non-alphanumeric character, such as an at symbol (@), hyphen (-) or underscore (_). Next, enter your Title, First Name, Last Name and Daytime Phone number (just in case we need to contact you urgently regarding your order). Then enter your home/billing address. Please note this should be the address to which your primary credit/debit card is registered. To complete the registration process, read our terms and conditions and click the tick box to indicate you have read and understood them. Once you are happy that the information you have entered is correct click the Create Account button.

5. Select Delivery Address

Tell us where you would like to deliver your order. You have the choice of using a Delivery Address already associated with your account by clicking the Select button adjacent to your chosen address, or alternatively you can add a new address using the Add New Address facility. Having successfully added a new address it will appear in your list of saved addresses.
If you are shipping to a BFPO address, please ensure you specify United Kingdom as your country and enter the full BFPO number in the postcode field e.g. BFPO123.
If you are shipping an order to Channel Islands and Northern Ireland, please select United Kingdom as your country.

6. Choose a Shipping Option

Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method. We will estimate shipment dates for you on the order form, just before you submit your order. The shipping charge for your order will be displayed on the order summary page just before you submit your order. If you would like to provide additional delivery instructions which our couriers may find useful please enter them in the form field provided. Next, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button to continue.

7. Provide Payment Information and a Password

Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo cards as payment. To reuse debit/credit cards you have previously associated with your account simply click the adjacent "Select" button. To add a new debit/credit card use the Add New Credit/Debit Card form to enter your card details (please enter debit/credit card numbers without spaces or dashes). Having successfully added a new credit/debit card it will appear in your list of associated payment options. All orders must be prepaid.

8. Review and Submit Your Order

Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the Place Your Order button to submit your order. Once you place your order you will see an Order Receipt message. Later you'll receive an order confirmation e-mail. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.

9. Check Your Order Status

If you would like to review the order you placed click the My Account link at the top of most pages on our site and then click the My Order History link. You will then be able to review, change the particulars, or cancel your order without having to contact us. Cancelling and updating your order via our website can only be undertaken whilst the Order Status is listed as Received or Processing. If you would like to make changes to or cancel your order at any later stage we ask that you please contact us directly.
