Hot New Product - Skins Thermal

The Skins Thermal top is designed to provide additional insulation benefits to athletes training or competing in colder climates. It incorporates all of the performance characteristics associated with Skins without excessive weight or restriction of movement.

The fabric used in the thermal tops provides the same features and benefits as the standard skins garments. The muscle wrapping seams are also consistent with those of the standard sports tops.

The yarn used for the fabric is a nylon hollow fibre core combined with spandex to achieve excellent stretch and recovery. It is made exclusively for Skins and this is the only compression garment using a hollow core fibre.

Hollow core fibres offer a much greater level of insulation as they trap a layer of air within the structure of the garment. As a result of this, the thermal top is 3 times warmer than the standard sport tops.

The extra surface area created by a hollow core fibre also means that moisture is wicked away at a much higher rate. This means that as well as being warmer, you are also drier and more comfortable!

Traditionally, hollow core fibres have a reputation for holding odour, as the bacteria get stuck inside the fibre itself. The anti bacterial and anti fungal treatment that all Skins garments have ensures that this is not a problem.

The products currently available in Skins thermal are a senior long sleeved top and junior long sleeved top.
