The GEL-NIMBUS 11 is the latest model of ASICS' flagship cushioning shoe and ranks as the most performance-oriented version yet providing excellent comfort and stability for both neutral and under-pronators.

The new Gender Specific Space Trusstic system uses a thinner and more flexible midsole material, providing the female foot with the right levels of support and flexibility.

A specially formulated Solyte material is used to create Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning in the forefoot, offering greater impact absorption and more bounce for female runners.

GENDER SPECIFIC CUSHIONING

Gender Specific Cushioning is ASICS new “comfort” component located directly under the metatarsals in the forefoot.

This special injected Solyte piece differs slightly between the men’s and women’s model and recognises the specific comfort needs of the two respectively.

The female “Gender Component” is actually softer than the males (49 degrees compared to 53 degrees durometer measure) allowing the lighter frame woman to feel a softer more comfortable ride inside the shoe.

The Solyte Component is produced using ‘injection moulded’ rather than the standard ‘compression moulded’ process - as it gives a true durometer consistency across the whole piece.

Gender Specific Space Trusstic

The Gender Specific Space Trusstic System creates a pocket of space between the Trusstic device and the midsole under the foot arch. It allows the ligaments of the foot to extend downward during propulsion. In the Gender Specific design the midsole material is thinner and more flexible so that the female foot can flex it sufficiently and take full advantage of the system.

Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning

Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning refers to the inclusion of specially formulated Solyte material in the forefoot of the female shoe. Since this material is less dense than the traditional material it offers greater impact absorption and more bounce for female runners.
