When some of the country's top hockey players take to the pitch at a prestigious tournament next month, some of the spectators in attendance will be enjoying a premier view.

That is because the England Hockey Board has confirmed it is offering everybody with tickets for the grandstand at the London Cup the chance to enter a draw for a free upgrade.

Those who would like to enjoy the best sightlines to the hockey sticks in action must enter the ballot by June 27th.

Fans heading to the event on either Tuesday 12th July or the following day are eligible for the offer.

On the first day, England will be in action in their first fixture of the competition when they take on Belgium, while 24 hours later they are due to face Korea.

The fixtures for the new English hockey season were revealed this week, with champions Beeston due to begin the defence of their title against Surbiton.
