In the UK Under Armour is primarily seen as a baselayer brand, but in the US they are one of the biggest all round sports brands going head to head with the likes of Nike. One Under Armours latest exports from the US to the UK market is a range of running and trail running shoes. These make use of the technologies UA have developed for their apparel, but also new technologies specifically developed for running shoes.

Cartilage - An independent suspension system serves as the “connective tissue” between a runner and his environment to enhance performance and provide an exceptionally stable and smooth ride. Built with elastic, protective and stabilizing properties, Cartilage activates independently when pressure is applied to ensure initial impact absorption, reduce force and create maximum stability and support.

Directional Cushioning Engineering - an integrated system of midsole components that work together to capture energy at impact and create propulsion by releasing forces directionally.

ARMOURLastic - absorbs shock at critical impact zones in the heel and forefront for the utmost protection.

ARMOURGuide - protects against shearing forces at the midsole perimeter to deliver a more efficient return to the neutral plane.

ARMOURBound – technology dispenses full-length cushioning and maintains an even distribution of impact forces throughout the gait cycle.

FootSleeve - a ventilated feature streamlines the construction of the shoe, hugs the foot, eliminates sliding and renders the traditional bulky footwear tongue obsolete. Every inch of an Under Armour running shoe is designed to deliver technical advantages based on an athlete’s neutral and stability needs.

Revenant II – Under Armour's most technical running shoe, engineered for runners with low, flexible arches and moderate overpronation. They provide protective stability for bigger runners who need more protection under foot.

Illusion II - Under Armour's most breathable running shoe, engineered for runners with medium, flexible arches and mild overpronation. Awarded "Smoothest Ride" in Windy City Sports Spring Shoe Review. The structural cushioning design allows for lightweight stability and foot-strike efficiency.

Apparition II - Under Armour's most cushioned running shoe, engineered for runners with medium to high, rigid arches and normal pronation. Designed with maximum cushioning for the smoothest transition.

Spectre II - Under Armour's lightest running shoe, engineered for runners with high, rigid arches and minimal pronation. Designed for responsive cushioning.

Janan – Under Armours stylish trail running shoe which features Foot Sleeve, Cartilage and ArmourGuide. The JANAN also has rip Stop nylon on the toe and a Rubber Toe Cap for extra bit of protection that you need when you go off road.
