The ankle cast system incorporates two gel filled patches, distal and proximal, that provide support and produce graduated compression during ambulation. The compression promotes efficient oedema reduction in addition to helping accelerate rehabilitation. The Gel patches are removable and can be refrigerated for the treatment of swelling of soft tissue and tendons.
