I prefer the comfort of Adidas for hockey shoes, but find the grip levels of the more rubbery soled Adidas astros only seems to last me about six months on water based anyway - I train twice a week and play once, but I also play over the summer. I'm also really fussy so 'normal' people would probably keep theirs longer than me. Anyway, I was tempted by the new plastic sole on this model, because I felt it had to last longer. It is amazing. I'm a goalkeeper so I'm used to cutting a couple of lines of tread off with a saw or stanley knife. This time, I had to use an electric multitool and goggles! to do this, but the grip is like nothing else. 10/10.nicola, tadleyWas this review helpful to you?yes no
