  Control, Accuracy & Striking I bought this stick just after the end of the 2013/14 season after having a Dita stick. One thing I lacked with Dita I felt was the striking capabilities with it. It was somewhat weaker than other sticks I had used. However with the Malik, I can really tell the difference. This stick not only feels nice to grip but when striking the ball it is pristine. Sometimes I will miss hit the ball and instead of getting a painful vibration, the grip absorbs a lot of it and prevents you from sore hands especially helpful in cold weather when you forget your gloves!. I don't know whether my accuracy has improved with a new stick or because I have gained more experience as a player but it feels as if my passes actually go to my target more often. Also with lifted balls, the slighter bow in the stick allows for a little more control but also height when providing team-mates with a lifted ball. Overall this stick is an 8/10. I know the Grays Jumbo Stick range is another well rounded stick but it wasn't within my price range. RE So after a year of what I thought was a good stick it didn't quite turn out well for me. An initial 8 out of 10 I would drop to probably a 6 out of 10. The end-cap was repaired 3 times within 6 weeks, it had a little transfer drop in power when striking.
