This was purchased for my 12 year old son who has been playing for 5 years. He is technically competent and is entering the England Hockey pathway. It was purchased after trying approximately 10-20 sticks from all the major manufacturers at Euro hockey. It was chosen because it felt right. It is light which was important as it is his first adult size stick. The grip gives a good firm tactile hold without being too thick. The grip goes further down the shaft than his previous 32 inch stick. The shaft has a grove and late bow which has improved his ariels and drag flicks. The stick has a high carbon content which gives a good solid feel from a light stick. The colour scheme is unusual and very noticeable. Summary, from non hockey playing dad. My son has taken to this stick very quickly, the size difference was not noticeable, the biggest change was from a mid to late bow. the stick has improved his ariel and dragflicks. The light stick is easy to handle for an average size 12 year old with lots of hockey experience. As mentioned this was chosen above sticks from well known brands at similar prices. Well worth trying. Pros Light, designed for attacking play. Good grip Cons Unusual colour, lack of brand history, probably not suited for defensive play.darren, felixstoweWas this review helpful to you?yes no
